Getting Started with OMS
This guide walks you through downloading the app, logging in, and understanding the main screen so you can start managing orders right away.
Download the App
The OMS app is available on both platforms:
- iPhone / iPad — Search for "CliqMenu OMS" on the App Store and tap Get.
- Android — Search for "CliqMenu OMS" on Google Play and tap Install.
The app is free to download. You just need an invitation from a business owner to start using it.
Logging In
OMS uses email + OTP (one-time password) authentication — no passwords to remember.
- Open the OMS app.
- Enter your email address. This must be the same email the business owner used when they invited you through BMS.
- Tap Send OTP. A 6-digit code will be sent to your email.
- Enter the OTP code to complete login.
If you haven't received an invitation from a business owner yet, you won't be able to log in. Ask the business owner to add you as an Order Manager or Kitchen Staff member in the BMS User Roles section.
Selecting a Business
If the business owner has invited you to work for more than one business, you'll see a business selection screen after logging in. Tap the business you want to manage to proceed.
You can switch between businesses at any time from within the app (see Switching Between Businesses below).
Main Screen Overview
Once you're logged in and have selected a business, you'll land on the main orders screen. Here's what you'll see:
Incoming Orders
When a new order arrives, it appears as an incoming order notification. You'll see the order details — items, dining method, payment method — and can choose to accept or review it.
Order List
Below the incoming orders section, you'll find the order list showing all active orders. Each order card displays:
- Order number and customer name
- Dining method (dine-in, takeaway, or delivery)
- Payment method (online, cash, or card)
- Current status in the order lifecycle
- Time elapsed since the order was placed
Status Tabs
The order list is organized into status tabs so you can quickly filter orders by their current stage:
- Received — Orders waiting to be accepted
- In Progress — Orders being prepared
- Cooking Done — Items finished cooking, awaiting final steps
- Ready for Pickup — Orders waiting for the customer
- Delivered — Completed orders
Tap any tab to see only the orders in that stage.
Keep an eye on the Received tab during busy periods. Orders waiting too long without being accepted may frustrate customers.
Switching Between Businesses
If you work for multiple businesses, you can switch without logging out:
- Open the app menu or settings area.
- Tap Switch Business.
- Select the business you want to manage.
Your view will update immediately to show orders and settings for the selected business.
